Is the extension really free?+

Yes. The extension itself is free on every plan, including the free tier. Your account's plan caps still apply - the free Attr.so plan includes 3 shortlinks / month, one custom domain, and 7-day click analytics - and all of those work through the extension out of the box.

Does it work with my custom domain?+

Yes. Once you have added a custom domain in the dashboard (e.g. go.acme.co), the extension uses it as the default for every new link you create. You can override it per-link from the popup.

What data does it collect about my browsing?+

None. The extension only reads the URL of the current tab at the moment you click the toolbar button - no background tracking, no keystroke logging, no cross-site requests. The activeTab permission is the only page-data permission we ask for.

Does it work in Edge / Brave / Arc / Opera?+

Yes - every Chromium-based browser runs the same Manifest v3 bundle. We test on Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera and Vivaldi before every release.

Is there a Firefox / Safari version?+

Firefox is on the roadmap. Safari is further out - Apple's extension platform requires a separate macOS bundle. Both are public on /roadmap if you would like to up-vote.

Can I shorten multiple tabs at once?+

Yes. Right-click the toolbar icon for the "Shorten all tabs in this window" command. The shortlinks land in your dashboard as a single batch with a shared UTM campaign so you can track the cohort together.
