Are the QR codes I create here safe to use commercially?

Yes. QR codes are an open standard (ISO/IEC 18004); the codes generated here have no licence, expiry, or attribution requirement.

Can I track how many times my QR code is scanned?

Not directly - a static QR points to a fixed URL with no tracking. Sign up free for attr.so to wrap it around a short link and get scan analytics, country, and device data.

What size should I use for print vs web?

For digital screens, 256-512 px PNG is plenty. For print, use the large preset (1024 px PNG) or the SVG download - SVG scales to any size without losing edges.

Why does my QR code not scan reliably?

Three usual causes: too little contrast between code and background, the quiet-zone margin is too narrow, or the URL inside is too long. Increase margin, use darker code on lighter background, and shorten long URLs first.

Can I edit the destination after generating the QR?

Static QR codes are baked in - to change the destination you would need to reprint. Use a tracked short link from attr.so as the QR target, then change the link in your dashboard whenever you need a new destination.

What error correction level do you use?

M (medium, ~15% recovery) is the default - a good balance between data density and tolerance for damage. Higher correction levels make the code denser but more forgiving of dirt and tears.
